May is here and Memorial Day is coming up quickly, kicking off the “summertime” travel season. We would like to share some tips to help you and your family that we hope are helpful for you:
- If you are flying, be aware of the requirements that continually change. Right now, consider looking into “real ID” requirements even if you're flying within the country.
- If you are driving, make sure that your vehicle is ready, inspected and serviced. The last thing you want is unforeseen delays or interruptions that could have been prevented.
- Travel Health and Trip interruption Insurance benefits to protect both you and your trip in case things don’t go as planned. Especially for clients that are of Medicare age (65 and older), as Medicare benefits stop at our borders, making this important to know for your travels if you are going out of the country. No such thing as blue tulips
