Let’s talk about Planning.
This word gets used a lot, so let’s clarify that what we are not talking about: your investments and allocation of those investments and/or the hot topic of the day that makes the headlines. While that can be a piece of your planning, it really is about the organizing of your goals, your priorities and then your “stuff”, essentially what is important to you.
In our experience, start where you have a simple list where what is important to Your Plan is written down. That helps you and your loved ones when those questions come up of where that “Plan” starts – examples would be who to contact, where to find things or a note or letter to explain something you thought was important to Your Plan.
To help with this organization and Your Plan we have a simple tool commonly used in planning called the “From the Heart Journal”. It is private, it is personal and it is adaptable. You use it the way you want in Your Plan. We are sharing it here for you to use and have access:
