It’s that Season(s) of the year..…annual open enrollments……and of course the start of the Holiday Season. We hope everyone has a spooky good Halloween!

 

As we alluded to above, these Months are also the “Season for Open Enrollments” specifically for a lot of benefit and Health care related items. What this means is You have a specific time frame to add or make changes to Your Benefits and coverages. Here is a short list of dates to pay attention too:

  1. Medicare and for people over age 65: October 15 thru December 7, 2024    https://www.cms.gov/Outreach-and-Education/Reach-Out/Find-tools-to-help-you-help-others/Medicare-Open-Enrollment                                              
  2. Individual Medical (2 dates):
    1. November 1, 2024 thru December 15, 2024 for January 1, 2025 start date.
    2. December 16, 2024 to January 15, 2025 for a February 1, 2025 start date.
  1. Employer/Employee Benefits: These dates can vary, but a large majority of business’s use this time of the year to make choices, changes or updates for Benefits that are offered for the upcoming Year. It is always a good idea to review Your choices and make any updates that are needed.
